What is Avalonia's community?
Let us start at the beginning: what do we mean by "community"?

A community is a group in which each individual feels a deep and undeniable sense of belonging, and where the following sentence takes shape:
"The simple fact that you were born is validation"
Quote from Colin Campbell,
Schumacher College, Mind in Nature 2019
Community is like a Human being: composed of several cells, or other / more-than-human beings, it too has a soul which is larger than the sum of its parts. As such, together, we form a new entity more vibrant than all our individualities taken together.

Sometimes, common objectives, dreams, mindsets, projects or interests help us feel connected one to another. Sometimes, it just takes a moment of silent gathering around a Fire, a danse, a song, a look, an Ôm, a meal, a tear, or a laughter shared... Sometimes, it comes naturally, it's an obvious one. Sometimes, it takes a little bit more work. The idea behind the Avalonia Community is to propose a safe, kind and respectful context so that everyone feels the possibility of daring blossoming, being entirely themselves within the limits of respecting others, and feel empowered as an individual as part of a group in service of Nature and our own nature and wilderness.

There are those who carry and feed arduously this Project, there are those who propose wonders during our events, be it regularly or spontaneously, there are those who are happy with participating and contributing by their rich presence and contributions, there are those who support and follow us from afar. The Avalonia Community is a bit of all of this. We take care of each other and we trust that everyone is doing their best, in respect of their physical and emotional wellbeing, to make this project happen.
